Registration Begins

  1. Log in to your MyCalStateLA portal. Click on the GET icon. 选择“自助服务”，然后转到“学生中心”.
  2. Click on the ‘Early Start Course’ link at the top left under 'Academic' on your GET page. 在这里，您将确认您的早期开始课程的参与，并通知您是否可以获得费用减免.

  6. You should now be on the 'Add Classes' page. Click on the Search button
  7. In the subject 框，输入相应的课程添加， ESC for English or ESM for math. In the box right below, enter the course number (see your letter: 1090, 1082, or 1005A).  Then click ‘Search’. 
  8. 球场列表应该显示一个绿色圆圈，表示该球场已开放, and seats are available. 做出最适合你日程安排的选择. 'Select’ the course and then click ‘Next’ to continue. 对于数学，重复步骤添加lab (ESM 90或82)
  9. 检查你的选择，然后“继续第三步中的第二步”. Select 'Finish Enrolling'.

ESM 1090和ESM 90:早期开始定量推理与统计(8周)  

ESM 1090和ESM 90适用于非理工科专业的新生. 这是统计学和数据分析的入门课程，使用定量推理和数学概念进行解释, 包括理解基础研究数据的描述性和推断性统计和分析方法, 在现实生活中应用于教育和人类服务. ESM 1090的学生也必须注册ESM 90, 一门为学生提供额外支持的必修课程. Classes will be held in-person.

课程学分:通过ESM 1090将获得3个学分，并满足GE Block B4的要求. ESM 1090 is graded ABC-/NC. ESM 90不计入大学学分或学位，等级为CR/NC.
 

ESM 1082和ESM 82早期微积分预备课程:函数(8周)  

ESM 1082和ESM 82是为需要微积分预科或微积分专业的新生准备的. 这包括大多数STEM(科学、技术、工程、数学)专业. ESM 1082的内容是一个标准的微积分前函数类(基本函数), exponential and logarithmic functions; polynomials and rational functions; sequences including arithmetic and geometric series).  ESM 1082的学生也必须注册ESM 82, 一门为学生提供额外支持的必修课程.  Classes will be held in-person.

ESC 1005A Early Start Composition

ESC 1005A是一个为期六周的暑期课程，旨在帮助第一次参加大学写作课程的学生取得成功. Working with a supportive professor, 你将有机会探索批判性阅读的新策略, research, 写作可以为你将来的大学课程打下坚实的基础. 通过与像你一样的同龄人交流和合作，你会发展你的写作优势. 

课程学分:通过本课程，您将获得3个学分，并在秋季学期进入下一级英语课程(ENGL 1005B)。. Graded: ABC-, NC

 

  • 每个单位的费用为191美元，加上强制性的一次性卫生设施费用1美元和学生会费用1美元.

    • 申请经济援助且学生援助指数(SAI)为6美元的加州居民,000或以下(在注册时)将有资格获得每单位费用的豁免, 卫生设施费和学生会费.
